when i arrived at the location that the car had been for sale, i found out it had been sitting in the same spot for around
10 - 15 years, uncoverd. it had everything wrong with it you would imagine with a car that old in the conditions it was in.
rotted tires, rust, rotten interior, deteration of all sorts. the car had sunk into the ground from sitting so long, we had
to get a pickup to pull it out if its place. i bought the car for $200$. after we got home, and pulled it out of the trailer,
i found the car was in worse shape than i had originaly thought, every time the door shut, it sprayed the ground with rust
from under the car, but it was the best i could do for a car of its age and of its model. i started to tear it down, first
the motor and transmision came out of the car then the driveshaft. everything came out with ease. the motor that was in the
car when i found it was a stock 4 cylinder that had a cracked head. after the tranny and motor was out, i started working
on the interior, the car came with air conditioning, which was the hardest thing to take out of the car, becouse it was so
titly packed into the dash of the car. after the interior of the car was out, i disasebled the rear suspention and took it
out. the new motor that is being built by me is a small block chevy, it started out as a stock 350, but i had it machined
and now it is a .30 over 350(355) i am buying a crank for it that has a stroke of 3.75 and a rod length of 5.7, this combonaition
of parts puts my 355 to a 383 stroker motor, the pistons i am using are 8 to 1 compresion j&E blower pistons, the cam is a
crane perfomance hydrolic lifter cam. i am using 202 cast iron heads, machined to a 58cc combustion chamber, the combustion
chamber has been unshrouded, and screw in studs have been installed. A EFI system is planned for my fuel delivery. im backing
that motor with a muncie 4 speed and a hurst super shifter. the rear end i am using is a dana 60 with 4:10 gears. The tires
are Micky Tompson n/50 15s and the rims are cragar ss. The new suspention is a compition enginering 4 link. the frame i am
constructing has the front section from a s-10 that will be narrowed 3 inches to clear the fenders. The rest of the frame
will be made by hand other than the main frame rail thats go over the axles, i bought those from compition engineering. the
front suspention will be the s-10's stock setup with cut springs.

i am currently working on the frame
